This educational and informative museum was created to honor the men and women who have served our country. It highlights the important role of the military for not only Jacksonville, but the entire nation. The museum is located in the site of the administration building for the Jacksonville Ordnance Plant, the primary manufacturer of fuses and detonators during WWII. Exhibits cover all major wars, including the Gulf and Iraq wars. Interactive displays, memorabilia, and a research room are also available to visitors.
